Poetry and photography are collaborating as forms of artistic expression. Anja Menzel, a German photographer, and Lubna Al Balushi, an Omani multilingual poet, work together to tell the story of faces from Oman and of Omani nature. The stories are captured by the photographer during her journey around Oman and are complemented by heartfelt poems in Arabic, English, and German by Lubna Al Balushi. Here is a journey into Oman’s beauty and its spirit of nature reflected in faces full of dreams, love, hope, and exceptional moments.
المشروع الفني المشترك بين أنيا منتزل الصحفية والمصورة الألمانية والشاعرة العُمانية لبنى البلوشي. وإذ تتألق المصورة في التقاطاتها لوجوه من عُمان تبرز الكلمات من خلف الصور بقراءة الشاعرة للوجوه حيث تتحد الصورة مع الكلمة في سيمفونية واحدة، والتي التقطتها المصورة أثناء رحلاتها و تجوالها في ربوع السلطنة، في المقابل محاكاة للصور تكتب الشاعرة قصائدها بثلاث لغات هي العربية والانجليزية والألمانية. فها هنا رحلة لاستكشاف عُمان الجميلة، واستشعار روح الطبيعة، وتأمل الوجوه المكللة بالأحلام. رحلة إلى عالم مليء بالحب والأمل واللحظات الاستثنائية
